Our Worship Life

The central focus of our ministry is the weekly celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
Our services range from the quiet and contemplative of early Sunday morning and the quiet celebration of the Holy Eucharist in the traditional form of the Book of Common Prayer on Wednesday morning to the full choral celebration of our main Sunday service. Special Feast and Holy Day services (Advent, Christmas, Lent, Holy Week, and Easter) are also held. Please see our Weekly Services and Upcoming Events pages for details.

The Laying on of Hands and Anointing for Healing is an ancient ritual, common practice in the Early Church, and has recently been revived in many parishes. Through it, we recognize God’s spiritual healing power and the wholeness it can bring. We acknowledge that healing is not just a matter of the body; it is also a matter of the soul, the whole person. The touch of a praying person on our head and an application of oil to our forehead can bring comfort to those of us who feel the need for specific healing of spirit, mind or body. This Sacrament is currently administered during Holy Communion, approximately four times per year.

For Ministry to the Sick and Those in Need, please notify the Church office if you or a family member is ill or in other need. The clergy will arrange to visit and administer Holy Communion if desired.
