The Rev. Canon Dr. Drew V. MacDonald

Rev. Canon Dr. Drew V. MacDonald is our guest preacher and celebrant for three Sundays beginning August 15.  Rev. Drew’s themes/ sermon topics will be ‘Seeking Wisdom’ [August 15]; Dealing with Mystery [August 22] and ‘So what is the Gospel?’ [August 29].

Rev. Drew has been ordained 35 years and is recently retired from the parish of St. John’s York Mills. He did his doctorate at Princeton in the United States in ecclesiology and practical theology. His passion is talking about the scriptures and how they apply to our daily life. He sees himself more as a teacher than preacher.
